ENT consult, audiogram, and endoscopy in one file
Clinical ENT work sits next to booking, invoices, and insurance reporting prep. The module runs only where you use it, so it does not clutter other teams’ menus.
Left otalgia for 3 days, fever 37.8°C.
Local antibiotic 7 days, analgesic as needed, avoid water contact. Follow-up in 7 days.
Protocol: acute otitis mediaWhat usually gets in the way
Exam by region, with ICD-10 and signing
The consult file has chief complaint, history, and exam by region: right and left ear, nose, oropharynx, larynx, and neck. Insert normal text with one click and edit only what differs. Text fields support rich formatting.
Search diagnosis by code or name in ICD-10, with each clinician’s favorites first. The consult is signed; after signing, changes go through addenda. Recommendations can start from a protocol tied to the diagnosis.
- Exam by region with one-click normal text
- ICD-10 diagnosis with favorites per clinician
- Recommendation protocols by diagnosis
- Signing and addenda with history
Left otalgia for 3 days, fever 37.8°C.
Local antibiotic 7 days, analgesic as needed, avoid water contact. Follow-up in 7 days.
Protocol: acute otitis mediaPure-tone audiogram in the file
Enter air and bone thresholds by click or keyboard from 125 to 8000 Hz. Standard symbols, pure-tone average, and an orienting degree of loss; tympanogram and speech results in the same record.
Compare with the prior exam on one graph, track PTA over time, and print a report for the patient.
- Air and bone thresholds with standard symbols
- PTA and orienting degree, not a diagnosis
- Tympanogram and speech results
- Comparison, trend graph, printed report
- PTA 40 dB: mild loss (indicative)
- Air-bone gap 17.5 dB: suggests a conductive component
- PTA 22.5 dB: normal hearing (indicative)
- Tympanogram type A
Set thresholds by tapping the chart or using the keyboard. Values compare with the previous exam on the same chart.
Fibroscopy and otoscopy in the patient file
Upload images or short clips (MP4, WebM), tag by region (ear, nose, nasopharynx, oropharynx, larynx), link to a consult, draw circles and arrows, and compare two exams with zoom and contrast.
For devices, a small local app can watch the export folder and send files to the patient record. Compatibility depends on the device; we check upfront.
- Images and clips by anatomical region
- Saved circles and arrows on images
- Compare two exams with zoom and contrast
- Automatic import from device export folder
The orange circle and arrow are annotations saved on the image. Clips play in the record; two exams compare side by side.
Consult documents ready to print
From a signed consult issue prescription, referral, and certificate with clinic letterhead and clinician stamp. Medications autocomplete from an imported CSV nomenclator and learn from what you prescribe.
Printed documents are for the patient. For e-prescription where applicable, RIVIL prepares required data, shows what is missing, and generates validated XML. Submission to national systems uses the clinic certificate separately.
- Prescription, referral, certificate
- E-prescription data checks and validated XML where applicable
- Medication nomenclator by specialty with CSV import
- Letterhead, stamp, and internal number on each document
- Print or save as PDF
DiagnosisH66.0 Acute suppurative otitis mediaRecommended treatment
- Ciloxan, 3 mg/ml, ear drops
3 drops twice daily, 7 days - Paracetamol 500 mg
1 tablet every 8 hours if pain occurs
Clinic document; does not replace the official e-prescription.
Consent per procedure, with on-screen signature
Template per procedure (ear wash, biopsy, procedures); the patient signs on screen or on paper. Signed text is kept even if the template changes later.
Refusal is recorded the same way; a wrong consent is voided with reason and kept in history. Your clinic writes and validates the texts.
- Your templates with versioning
- On-screen or paper signing with legal rep and witness
- Copy of signed text, void with reason
- Print with patient signature
Informed consent
Risks and alternatives
Signed text is kept as at signing time even if the template changes. A wrong consent is voided with a reason and stays in history.
Reporting data entered once and checked before export
For contracted practices, keep reporting fields in the file: clinician stamp and specialty, insured patient data, contracted services, and referral when needed. RIVIL checks the month and shows what is missing per consult, with reason.
Export to CSV and XML using published clinical service report structures, validated on the official schema. Direct submission to national systems is configured with the clinic using its digital certificate and test access.
- Reporting data on clinician, patient, service, and consult
- Monthly checks with reason for each gap
- CSV and XML export validated on official schema
- Direct submission enabled with clinic certificate
Reporting fields are filled once (physician, patient, contracted services); the check shows the reason on each consult. Export follows the official clinical services report structure.
Patients book and remember follow-up
Booking shows only open times for the chosen visit, by clinician and room. Email confirmation and reminders; waitlist when a slot opens.
Follow-ups at 7 or 14 days can use recall reminders.
- Only open times by clinician and room
- Email confirmation and reminders
- Waitlist and recall reminders
What people ask us
Does it fit a small ENT practice?
Yes. Start with consult and booking and add modules when you need them.
Does it connect to video endoscopy and audiometry?
Images and clips upload directly. Local folder sync depends on the device; audiometer exports attach as files. Automatic value import depends on the device and we discuss upfront.
Can we report to insurance from RIVIL?
We prepare data and validated CSV/XML export. Direct submission needs a qualified digital certificate and test access; we configure with the clinic. Until then, import export into the official app without retyping.
Are prescriptions official e-prescriptions?
Printed RIVIL documents are for the patient. E-prescription flows prepare validated XML where applicable; official submission uses national apps and clinic certificates. Electronic referral is not ready yet.
Does ENT show for every RIVIL customer?
No. It is a separate module. Shared medical lists can be organized by specialty so multi-specialty clinics keep separate lists.
Can clinician and assistant have different rights?
Yes. Clinician signs and issues documents; assistant can prepare consult and upload images but not sign or delete. Roles define access.
Who writes medical texts and consents?
Your clinic. We provide the structure; your clinicians validate nomenclators, protocols, and consent templates.
How is patient data protected?
See security. For sensitive data we align on requirements from the start.
